MAS36 bolt gun in orig. cal, C&R OK to MD?

Lots of conflicting reports on this.

Customer holds a valid C&R in MD. Wants a greasy MAS36 arsenal rework, in orig. 7.5F caliber.

I'm told yes, I'm told no, it has to go to a "real" FFL.

Thoughts?

  A C&R IS a real FFL. Yes, you can ship a C&R rifle to a Maryland C&R holder.

  I don't see the mas 36 listed on the C&R list, but I didn't look at the recent up dates.
  That gun was in use from 1936 to 1978. Is it possible you have a late model gun NOT 50 years old???

  According to the Standard Catalog of Military Firearms by Ned Schwing, the standard French service MAS36 was made 1936-1949. Even the post-war version with grenade launcher was made only until 1951.
  
  Either version would be a C&R.
  
  And, MD has no restrictions on receiving C&R's, either long guns or handguns.
