German or Belgian 6mm Target Pistol?
Here are some photos of an old "Parlor" pistol. Is is 6mm in caliber. It has German proof marks on it. I am trying to find any information I can about this. Is it German or Belgian? Who made it? How old is it? Any help will be appreciated.

B U G N and crowns means German...Belgian would be crowns and ELG in an oval. 0 -
It's German manufactured, with a Warnant mechanism, Flobert pistol. Although it marked 6mm, chances are it's chambered for a special .22 rimfire cartridge, that only uses the primer to fire a round ball not a conical conventional .22 bullet. Be especially careful as some misguided folks in the past have reamed the chambers of similar guns to take modern high pressure .22 ammo, with very bad results. 0 -

It probably doesn't predate 1899, as guns of this type were still offered in the 1911 catalog of Adolph Frank, Hamburg. 0 -

Not much demand/value in these, as far as U.S. collectors are concerned. The German proofs would be a plus, as would be the descent condition. Lot of the G.I. bring back Flobert's are found in trashed condition, as a result of three generations of kids playing with them. I would start it at $100 on a no reserve auction, you might hopefully get multiple bidders, as it would be a neat wall hanger /conversation piece for the man cave.0
