Glock 19 Gen I vs Gen II
Can someone tell me the difference between the Glock 19 Gen I and the Gen II? I've picked up a used one and am not sure what generation it is. I also noticed the new Glock 19 Gen 4 mags do not seat flushed up to the bottom of the pistol grip as do the original mags that came with the gun. Where would I find a couple older Glock brand mags that fit snug?
Thanks much for any input!

What does your frame look like? the front strap will tell you.
1st Gen guns have a smooth front strap like the sides of the grip.
2nd Gen guns have a stippled front strap.
3rd Gen guns have finger grooves and stipling on the front strap.0 -
True Gen 1 G19s are pretty rare and a collector's item. 0 -
