inletting black clean up

had my first experience today with inletting black. Was a big help in final fitting my Model 55 action to a stock head. Now I am wondering what is the best way to clean that stuff off the action (in the white) and the stock? I used go-joe on the action and it worked great. Brushed it off the stock with just a skosh of go-joe (lots of water so no soak in). Anybody have any advice on clean up?

  I usually just use rubbing alcohol to remove it from anything it's on.......
