6x45 cartridge?

Does anyone have one of these and if so what do you think of it. I'm considering an AR build using this round. How tough is it to resize the 223 brass?

    It's not hard to resize them at all. Keep the expander ball lubed and it's super easy.

    Great cartridge. It's easy to resize and load for and will feed great though an AR. With the exception it won't load out heavy bullets for caliber quite as well as the .223. 85's and 90's are no problem for this cartridge.

    I prefer the little tiny extra oomph of the 6mm TCU. Which is .223 case necked up, just like the 6x45, except the shoulders are blown forward and out. But, it won't feed from an AR quite as well as a 6x45. At least without working the feed lips over on the magazines. to get them work better. For the little bit extra you get from a 6mmTCU in an AR I don't think it's worth it. I do think it's worth it if you went to a single shot such as the TC Contender.

    Excellent cartridge, small yet efficient and easy to reload with lots of available data. There is a huge selection of bullets for everything from plinking to hunting and target shooting. It is a good choice for an AR platform as well. I have very little use for .223 Rem. so this cartridge is perfect for my uses. We built dozens of these on small bolt action receivers for depredation hunting both here and abroad. Varmint hunters have enjoyed using this cartridge in the AR platforms we built.

    The resizing is simple. Clean the necks, chamfer the mouth, lube the expander ball then clean the necks again. Trim for square.

    I had one of these years ago and at the time it was an improvement over the .223. In its favor is the use of standard brass, but in my case with the advent of the 6.8 Remington it made my 6x45 expendable. For me the 6.8 fit right between the .223 and the .308 with the .308 being on the AR10 platform. The .223 & 6x45 were just to close together in performance to justify having both.
