List Serial Number on gun posting?

Is it recommended to list a serial number when selling a gun or not?

  i used to be paranoid about this but now think it really doesn't matter. posting the serial number only helps the experts here provide the best answer to your question.

  Thank you. Is anyone aware of Ruger 44 Magnum Semi Auto Carbine rifle stocks as having a predisposition to cracking?

  I had one a few years ago but the stock never cracked.

  I had one for 30 yrs and it never cracked. I had a Ruger#1 for 1 day and the stock cracked the first time I shot it. The distributor replaced the whole rifle. Things just happen and it will not be the last time.[:D]-Mike
