Rock River NM trigger
I installed the trigger, but with one wrinkle.
The .156" diameter pin for the hammer fit OK, the trigger pin did not. I installed it with the slightly smaller .154" pin that was part of the original equipment and performed all the safety checks. It works properly, at least by dry firing.
Is the .154 pin OK for the trigger w/o worrying about future problems?
I asked the tech at Rock River, he replied that since it is functioning OK to not worry.
My question is: will those 2/1000 difference cause problems down the road. My thinking is that the engagement could be lessened by the2/1000" difference in pin diameter. Opinions?

I have a half dozen or so RRA 2 stages, the .156 should fit the trigger but if it does not and the trigger works with the .154 then I'd say it's fine. I switched from the .154 to the .156 and it did feel a bit different. The trigger will interact a bit differently with the hammer, probably give you a slightly different pull, but if it works it works.
One trick I've used is that instead of trying to get the .156 in "fresh" is to install the trigger with the .154, then "piggyback" the .156 in and use it to drive out the .154.
Also, I've switched over to the KNS .156 non-rotating pins - probably perfectly useless over the regular ones but what the hell, looks neat.0 -
Did you get a set of 'e-clips' (or c-clips) with it? I would make sure and install those on your pin so it won't 'walk' out 0
