DPMS Panther upper?

DONDALINGER
Midway has 20" stainless barrel DPMS complete uppers on sale for $464. I was thinking about getting one. My question is, will these fit on any mil-spec lower? Are the DPMS uppers decent?

Any info appreciated.

    I had some "quality issues" with a DPMS barrel and strongly felt they really need better customer relations when I contacted them. Stainless is simply the best A/R barrel material PERIOD. Stainless is challenging at times to clean but it fails to hold heat for any length of time unlike the other materials. So you don't need a bull barrel ever. It's something an engineer would understand. I won't explain it more because many simply refuse to understand. But I will say Stainless is not cheap, I payed something like $400 for an AR Stoner barrel with bolt. That $464 is cheap for a complete upper and YES, it will fit any cast or machined AR15 lower for the 5.56. Look carefully at the feed ramps to see if they are crushed. Look carefully at the gas port hole through the bore for burrs. Check the barrel crown for upward burrs or dings. If none then cool beans you got a good upper. It might sport a Yankee Hill upper receiver though. Yes, they typically are decent but the customer service is another topic.
