Kodiak Rifles (Jefferson Mfg.)
When Winchester downsized and re-tooled in 64 a number of employees bought Jeff Mfg. in New Haven, CT who had produced parts for Colt and Winchester, and re-named it Kodiak. They produced long guns for about 3-5 years(?). I had found 1 catalogue page years ago and it showed semi 22's, Pump shotguns and rifles inpopular calibres of the time.I have never seen a shotgun although I have seen parts for sale. I have aquired a few rifles and one 22. All are quality and accurate.
I am not a trained researcher so previous info may be faulty except for the Name. Does anyone know of this company, what they produced, how many, how long in business, Other sources of info,etc.

i have seen several of the kodiak 22 mag auto rifle and one was offered at a dealer near here for $225...but i didn't buy as i have many 22 mags...had an alloy? reciever blacked & was a trim litle rifle...enjoy the hunt...on a similar note many years ago i had a Kintrek 22lr semi auto bullpup design 33' long with a 20-22" bbl???..double safety..clear plastic clip...fun little gun US made...never seen another 0
