Grips for Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan 44 mag

    Over on the ruger forum there is a fellow who installed a set of Ruger SP101(the little 5 shot .38 special) grips on his Alaskan and they fit just fine--they both use a grip peg-the SP101 grips are just narrower and a little smaller--you do have to remove the round grip panel locator pin though to get the SP101 grips to fit(its the round pin right above the bottom part of the metal grip peg). GP100 .357 Mag grips work too--these are all the old style that Ruger used for years--NOT the Hogues that come on the GP100 now if you go that route.

    Eagle Secret Service grips work too but they are really meant for concealment and not a lot of target shooting.
