Kel-tec shotgun or mossberg bullpup?

Which shotgun should i buy? i want something for home defense and something for fun. I am thinking Kel-tec shotgun all the way please give me some suggestions.

    Kel Tec also isn't going to come cheap.

    You're going to pay a pretty high premium in price to save a few inches in length and double your capacity.

    The shorter length may be helpful indoors, I guess, but the extra capacity probably isn't necessary in a home defense gun. If you can't get it done with 5(+) shots of buckshot, another 10 probably isn't going to help you.

    If I were you'd I'd just look at any standard pumpgun in "riot" configuration, as an excellent home defense gun, and not worry about it too much more than that.

    The Mossberg 500 and Remington 870 are the two "standards", but I think lots of other guns could work just fine (Winchester, Ithaca, High Standard, Smith, etc).

    Since Kel-tec is not out yet it is not really an option for quite some time.

    The Mossberg is going to cost you over $500. Do a search, we just went over the Mossberg bullpup. While they look cool they kinda suck. They are excessively heavy, crappy trigger and is awkward to pump.

    Both are novelty guns IMO. Cool to look at but that's about it. You can have fun with a $150 dollar regular 870 or 500, and even used will last your lifetime.

    Our local police supply store has used 870's with 18" cylinder bore for $199. Add an extended mag tube for $30 and you have your higher capacity pump home defense shotgun for around $250.

    Just a thought.
