HK G3 hand guard question.

I have a CETME with US made hand guard. It does not have the heat shield inside. My question is about the various HK made slim handguards for the G3 or CETME rifles. Do they have a heat shield in them? I'd ask the sellers but no one returns my questions.

  The slim line plastic hand guards from HK will have an aluminum heat shield riveted inside them while the earlier walnut hand guards typically do not have a shield.
