Colts 1911 commercial
Hi. looking for info on 1911 i picked up last spring. Hope to post photo later. I bought it at shooter price, think it has been reblued the finish looks to good almost like the blue on a python. What markings should be on barrel? (serial no. c130701) It has what looks like a p with a \ under barrel but cannot tell for sure, there is a triangle on left side of frame (trigger guard) with a p inside above that a w. On right side of frame (trigger guard) is number 22. The last pat. on slide is 1913, the bottom of the clip has a c-s. Thank you in advance for any help will try to get you photos

Unless we have quality photos can't really help. The big thing is the finish. If it's original you hit the jackpot. If on the other hand it's a commercial reblue, the markings don't mean anything. They all could be original commercial Colt from 1922, but it still has been refinished. 0 -
The magazine was made by Scovill (the S) for Colt (the C); it is a WW2 US military contract magazine.

Sounds like Commercial Frame with Military slide. all the markings on the frame are normal assm and proof marks. 0
