Availability date on Sig P290?

I've been looking at the new Sig P290 (online).

I was hoping the ship date would be announced after the SHOT Show, but nothing yet. Anyone have a 'bead' on when they may start being available?

  I recently spoke with one of SIG's regional mamagers about the 290.
  
  He said don't expect to see them out for another 6-7 months.

  Well the LC9 is available. Maybe I should check that out in the mean time. Can't have too many!
