trouble with weatherby youth model 20 guage

my son went out today to shoot his new weatherby youth 20 guage automatic he was using winchester target loads the gun would not eject the shells it would hang open if it didnt stay in the barrel does anybody know if this gun has some type adjustment i sure hope it will shoot low brass shells this is the reason for buying the youth model

  Here is a review on the 12 gauge version. Came with a light piston and heavy piston, and you select the proper one depending on the shotshell you are using. I would assume that the 20 gauge version also come with 2 pistons, one for heavy loads, one for light loads. Read the whole article. Covers it pretty well.
