I have one I'm going to try to list Sunday. Serial #293701.
If you find another pistol to buy, I also have this nice set of stag grips I took off mine. If your interested.

Thanks, I'll check your auction when it comes up. Have you carried yours? If so, how did you like it?

Carried it? A Mouse gun? No sir, it's from an estate I'm doing. I have shot it though, it functions great and reliably. I replaced the Stag grips with original black ones, trying to inprove the collectability of it.
The smallest pistol I carry is a J frame Smith in 38 special. Shoot someone with that 25 auto and it might make them mad, and I don't run very fast anymore.

Yeah. .25 is enough for me. I know in most cases it will stop who I need it to stop. I have a Glock 36 .45, but I don't like carrying it around. It is just a bit to big for most pockets, and I don't were a belt most of the time.

I have one from ca. 1923 & is the best of my .25s (not a target gun as the sights are minimal). Very handy as a carry gun. I expect any gun to be a deterrent to a potential attacker as no sane person wants to get shot. As to the insane ones, the debate goes on forever as to how much firepower you would need. Lots of people are killed with .22s. Go for it.

I will take a look at yours when it comes up. If I find a good deal before that, I may jump on it. But I doubt I will find anything in the next two or three days.

I would go for something like the 1903 or 1908 Colt pockets in .32 or .380, but they look a bit to big to fit in a regular pocket. I think the smallest one of the 1903 is 6 3/4" long. My Glock is the same size, so the only thing that I would gain would be a thinner gun.

The 08 Vest Pocket is much smaller than the 03 Pocket, I have one of each. Backstrap safeties need a firm grip and you can only get your middle finger on the short grip of the Vest model, so practice being in a hurry if needed.
Seems odd that Colt used same model# for Vest Pocket .25 and Pocket .380. ???
