Remington 700 with "C" prefix....anyone know DOM?

  Remington DOM's can frequently be discerned by code letters on left rear portion of barrel, just forward of the receiver.

  Yeah I know. There's a gun on the auction side that says C prefix, but I think the seller is referring to the first letter of the serial#. I've already emailed him for the two letter code, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet.
