SKS accuracy issue once hot
I have a Yugo SKS 59/66A1 rifle. It is in excellent condition to my knowledge. Last week I put 60 rounds thru it. The last 10 rounds all went high by several inchs. This week I shot it again, 40 rounds this time. The last 10 rounds all went high again by a few inchs. At 100 yards I can put all the rounds in the bullseye or 9 or 8 ring.By the time I get to the last 10 rounds the barrel is pretty hot to the touch. Is barrel heat the reason that the last 10 rounds are going high by at least 6 inchs?? I'm thinking that maybe it is. If I let it cool down then the accuracy returns to normal. Anyone have something to add?? Thanks in advance. Lee[?]

you answered your own question. shoot slower for accuracy. 0 -
Shoot slower, no more then 5 or 10 rounds a minute and it should take more then 40 rounds to cause the rifle to string. 0
