Help : in need of shotgun information on Rota 83

I am in the market for a used over and under 12G. I recently found one in my local pawnshop. It is a Rota model 83. Gun says made in Italy. Gun is in excellent condition. No major problems with the wood and the blueing is fantastic. I would say the gun is 90% to 95%. My problem is I never heard of it. I did try and research it online but I am still a little confused. The guy was asking $399 for it but I talked him down to $300. If anyone has any info that would be great. Just wondering if it's a good deal or should I pass. I don't even know if it can shoot steel shot of if the shells extract automatically. The guy in the shop really doesn't know much about it. Any advice or info would be great. I have added a link to another exactly like the one I want to buy for sale and it is going for $520. So either I am getting a great deal or this auction is way too high.

Well I guess the link will not work but it is another online auction site. {elsewhere}. Just do a search and you should find it. There arn't any here on gunbroker. Thanks

There are shotguns made by Luciano Rota, listed in the Blue Book. All are doubles though. Imported in small numbers years ago by a couple of importer/distributors. Nothing recent and no overunders listed. These doubles are apparently good quality guns, as they are quite pricy. 0 -
Thanks but this is definitly an overunder Rota model 83. It has a double gold trigger. I wish you could see the listing on the other auction site. It is the exact same one.
