    If it was made in Italy one of the Italian Proof Marks will be a coded date, ( most likely in form of Roman Numerals ). Take quality photos of the Proof Marks, or at the very least give us a very specific description of them.

    Sorry no proof marks visable just MADE In ITALY present on right side of barrel. Possibly are they under the stock?

    If there are proofs, probably under stock.

    Hello I have 2 of these rifles both made in Italy I believe made for Weatherby by Beretta I will try to see if mine have any proof mark dates. I know the Beretta ones were all 1964-1969 one of mine is high gloss finish on stock other is more oil finish

    EDIT I pulled both of mine out of their stock . They have Italian proof marks but no date code sorry.

    My guess would be 1964 or 1965

    I have a later Japan made one with the tubular magazine. These are probably some of the nicest 22 rifles ever made in my opinion.
