French Flintlock pistol

Trying to find info on a French flintlock pistol. It is large caliber about 67 I guess. On the lock is Maubourg and under that, it is hard to make out[:)][:)][:)], it looks like either Monsufa or Manwfa, JWP. That could be LWP, hard to read that scrip for my old eyes. It has the letters C, M, NN, RD and WDR. There is the number 73. It has 1809 on the back of the barrel. Brass hardware and brass flash pan.

  It appears to be a French Model AN XIII .72 caliber cavalry pistol. Over 300 000 pistols were made, mostly between 1806 and 1814 in Charleville, Maubeuge (which is most likely yours) and St-Etienne.

  Being it's still has it's original FL mechanism is definitely a plus. Many were reworked to percussion during the 1830's/40's time frame. This alone will increase it collectors value substantially.
