1850's 12MM LeFauchbaux Rifle

I am in possession of a this rifle. The letters on the top of the barrel are closely non visible. It looks just like the pistols of this type I have saw. I would love to know the worth of the gun as well as information about it.

    Pictures are neccessary to get a true valuation and idea as to condition. Check the "sticky" topic near the top of the forum page that describes in detail how to go about that.

    I assume you mean a "Lefaucheux" revolving rifle. Pics are definitely needed.

    I have several pics of it but cannot figure how to put them on here. It has a number on the it just below the barrel and in front of the chamber. It looks like IF 9928 with a barely visible design above the IF

    I know Lefaucheux provided some revolvers and rifles to the Confederacy during the American Civil War but I don't know which models might fall into that category. One of our forum members, Horst Held, is very knowledgeable in European firearms, including Lefaucheux. His website is http://www.horstheld.com/
