What do you call the knob...?

On a rolling block action that you grasp to open it? It must have a name.

  It's on a Stevens and it's more of a knob than a lever.

  The only rolling block Stevens made with a "knob" was the Little Scout boy's rifle, and Schmelzer's 1915 Gunsmith Parts catalog called it the "Breech Block Lever"
