Ak stainless
Back in 03' I bought a norinco with a dragonov stock, long heavy barrel, muzzle break, and a stainless bolt and Bolt Carrier. The gun is in excellent condition and very accurate. How much would this gun be worth?

I suck with putting pic's on web site's- my sister helped me at my mom's house when I put it for sale on gunbroker , look up ak sniper a check out pics. I've seen sum ugly ak's selling for $1,200 so since I've never seen another ak with a stainless bolt and bolt carrier I thought it wouldn't be a problem to get $900 or more but in a week I haven't had a bid. Do u know how common this configuration was? When I bought this gun the original owner said it was a special order- ALL number's match 0 -
I have NEVER heard of a stainless bolt or bolt carrier on an AK. Their main objective is LOW cost. That is why the bolt carriers are in the "white".

I've also never heard of an "AK sniper". Given the shall-we-say less than match-grade accuracy the AK design generally delivers, that's somewhat of an oxymoron.
If in fact you have one of the Norinco NDM-86 "Dragunov" guns in 7.62x54R (which is a different thing than an AK), that will potentially have quite a bit of collectors value. These guns are fairly rare and actually desirable given their scarcity in the USA. Does your gun look like this?
IIRC, these guns have some sort of design defect that makes them potentially unsafe to fire without being fixed, though off the top of my head, I can't remember exactly what it is.
If what you have instead is a Chinese AK with a Dragunov-like stock, that's a bit of a different beast. It will still have some value (as Chinese AKs do), but not nearly so much.0 -

Hard to say exactly what its worth, but I'll ballpark it at maybe $700-900.
By itself the synthetic Dragunov-type stock doesn't add all that much. That's a $50 part, and after subtracting the value of the regular furniture that isn't on there, you're talking a marginal gain of maybe $20-30.
Stainless bolt carrier group is interesting, apparently these do exist. I don't think this by itself adds a huge amount of value either.
It might be worth a little more to certain bidders if you happen to be in a state that restricts importation of these things.
If you actually want it to sell, you start the auction at one cent, and then let the market decide what the gun is actually worth. Its pretty unusual that running a true auction like this does NOT get the true market value of the gun (almost by definition, it does) and sometimes you'll be surprised how much you can get.

I've had the gun for over 7 years and after putting over 200 rounds and cleaning it using sweets ( which takes the finish off cheap guns) I would know if it was chrome-plated! It Is Stainless Steel! I have a vepr 7.62x 51 with a chrome lined barrel. Look at the pics... I call it a sniper ak cause with the long-heavy, barrel,muzzle break, and dragonov stock, stainless bolt and carrier And the fact off a bench with sand bags and wolf or win. Ammo I can pull under 2 in. In 5 shot groups. I would let any one see and even shoot this gun to prove this-:; Like I all ways say NO B.S. 0
