8x57R (rimmed mauser) loads

Anyone have any favorite loads for 8x57R, .318 dia bullets. I have bullets from 150 to 190 gr. Medium load suitable for drilling.

  Considering the age and strength of these old guns, I'd suggest the lowest starting load from a manual that has specific data for the 8x57J(not JS) like the pre98 mausers.

  It is essentially the same as the 8X57J, just rimmed. I'd go with a max of 38 gr of 4064 for the 150, or 36 for the 190.
  
  You can do the same with 4895, just make it 36 and 34.
