Clark???
Anyone ever hear of the maker CLARK??? A guy I know just called me and said he found a pistol in the wall of a house he was renovating. He said it was a Clark in 32. Anyone have any info on this gun or company? Thanks

Are you sure the spelling is correct? There was Clerke (I think that was the spelling) that made cheap Sat. Night Specials. 0 -
I just spoke with him again. It is Clerke. Do you know any other info. Is this 32 acp? I havent seen 32 in a revolver. Loks like a real POS. There going for under $100 on the other side. 0 -
Yup, a rose by any other name would smell as sweet....the same works the other way around in that a turd, by any other name would smell as putrid. In other words, that IS a Saturday Night Special and is inherently unsafe to shoot, and I would personally ask "why was it behind a wall in some house"? Chances are good that it is either hot, or has been used in a crime. I would wait for the next gun-turn-in event thrown by your local gun-grabbers and laugh like hell when they handed me the $100 cash, or whatever amount they saw fit. The caliber, by the way is likely 32 Colt or S&W or variant thereof. 0 -
I know, I spent 19 yrs as a contractor and never found anything. Last week we found a 38 buried in the insulation in the attic....no one knows where it went, and now this in a wall in an old hardware store. It may not be hot. The guy who found it is going to try and keep it if it checks out ok. The clerkes i saw on the auction side look more like cap guns. I would be embarassed to pull it out. Any idea on DOM of these pistols??? 0
