S&W 29 5 screw

I aquired a 29 serial # S1342xx. It looks like the factory finish that my two S&W pre 10 made in 1946 & 1947. The finish is not very shiny(you know like a colt Python) at least not like some of the 29's I have seen that were later. Did the it change? celse

  Mystery solved! It's a 5 screw fourth model target 24 44spcl. In my haste of seeing an N frame with 5 screws walk through my door I didn't look closely at the caliber.
