R61 value
I have a Hungarian FEG R61...9x18. It's a little smaller then a PA 63. I have had it for about 20 years. Condition is good and it's not for sale...I am just trying to get a gauge on what it is worth. If it matters I have the box, a holster and two magazines with the gun's serial number stamped into them on the floor plate...not electric pensel.

I had one of those - it was stolen or I'd still have it. Damn nice LITTLE pocket gun, it went with me everywhere, except the day I left it at home and some miscreant got it along with a couple others. Leeroy Thomas has written that he considers the R61 to be the perfect combat pocket pistol.
I've been looking for another one but can't seem to find one - value???? Rough guess - probably around $300 +/-.0 -
I have one of these little gems also! Love it to death and would not part with it for love or $! I CC mine sometimes and like it better than my PPk's for its 9x18 power. I was lucky to find mine with the gold star with oak leaves on the slide which meant at one time it belonged to a party member. Value? Not many of them were imported into the US compared to the far more numerous PA63's which go for $150-200 or so. I wouldn't even think about selling mine but if I did the discussion might start somewhere around $600 what with the Red Star and oak clusters around it on the slide. For a regular one like yours, somewhere in the $350+ range could get the conversation going IMHO. But, unless you need the dough bad, I wouldn't let it go...think you will regret it as it is one fine little gun.[^] 0 -
Thanks...mine has some kind of wreath on the left side of the slide with a star on the top and something inside that I can't really make out. But the star is stamped in the slide and is not gold. But no I am not going to part with this gun...had it too long and like it too much (and I have a case of ammo for it) and too many other things could go in front of it. 0
