L.C. Smith Metal Finishes
I was intending on having an L.C. Smith Field Grade of mine restored soon. It is a 12g. that was made in 1915.
Wondering on Correct Metal finishes. I know that the barrels are to be rust blued. And case color hardenging for the receiver, locks, top lever, trigger plate and forend iron.
My question is what about the triggers? are they to be blued or color cased?
And my gun has the curtis forend latch. Is the latch button and bezel to be blued? It looks like it might have been blued originally. Can anyone confirm?

Top lever was c/c--- triggers and Curtis button was blued. 0 -
Mr. Dudley: send me a PM, pay the postage, and I'll send you a hammer spring for your LC Smith for postage cost. Loved mine, never needed the spring, might as well go to a good home. 0
