Like the rest of the BDC line up, they are just Gimmicky, and the actual correction is based on the law of averages. They have no idea what the actual performance level in your rifle is, not the height of the sight. That said, they do come fairly close with some loads. My personal choice is the Mildot scope, or a reticle with known subtentions like my NightForce NP-R1 reticle. That way I can match the bullets trajectory to my own prescription. But then that will entail lots of shooting...hmmm.

    I agree with TSR,

get a scope with vertical and horrizontal stadia, dope the load/rifle to it, and you will be much more accurate.

There are several computer programs that ar reasonably priced that will do the math for you, then you can fine tune it on the range.

    +TSR and QUICK
    Less 'gimics' is good.

When your winter dinner steps into view you have to rely on yourself.
Only you know Your rifle, Your load, Your setup.

Having some reference (stadia) markings, and adequate practice, are all you really need.
