s&w 686 hammer spring
i have a 686 no dash. i am wondering if the hammer spring can be changed to a little softer one and sill function properly.

Brownell's sells Wolff spring kits for S&W revolvers. If you aren't experienced with removing the side plate, or don't have the special S&W spring tool, you might consider asking a local gunsmith to do the job for you.
