Traditions Inline Muzzle Loader Problem

I have a . caliber 50 inline Traditions muzzle loader which has been converted to use shot gun primers. When firing the primer is blown back in front of the bolt. The hole in the adapter does not appear to have been enlarged. Any ideas? Thanks

  Yes, I have a great idea. Be thankful you don't have to carry a knife, or small screw driver to pry the spent primer out of the nipple. It also leaves room for the saying's "there is something to be said for Thompson Center", and "was it actually worth that much less?"
