I have an original 1967 SP1 Serial # <10K in excellent condition that I am considering insuring separately. Any suggestions on the value?

Here in Eastern PA - SP-1 in v.good to excellent condition are selling closer to 2 grand w/ 20" barrels (we sold two early last year, brought in by a collector's widow). Saw one carbine (w/16" barrel) sell for $2500 at a gun show. All three were in low excellent condition - of course no forward assist on any of them. 0 -

32,000ish is not low, my sp1 is 7,8xx (1967) and i would think that 2K

would have been $2500 during the panic. it will appreciate in value as time goes on.

i paid $1800 5 yrs ago for lnib with 3 digit serial number and was happy to get it.
