I have seen used G 27's going locally in the $425-$475 range. Don't know what used Contenders are selling for now, though? Be cautious when swapping out the barrels on the Contender, if you get it. The feds take a dim view of folks who use pistol length barrels with full length stocked rifles. Only use the short barrel with the Contender when it is set up with the handgun stock.

You have the better deal, as Rufe stated, your Glock should sell for $425-$475. A used Contender frame sells for $225-$275, the barrels will be $185-$235 Each, along with $150 for the scope. On the low end your receiving a $700 package for an investment of only $450. That's a good deal in anybody's book.

I agree here. I think you would be very happy, and it sounds like a good deal. You can look up the wood furniture alone to see how high it is.

All depends on the condition of everything. NIB, the Contender with the 44 pistol barrel alone, nothing else, is worth more than the Glock. Add in the rifle barrel and the scope and you have yourself one sweet deal. Between the 223 and the 44 your covered for anything from prarie dogs to deer, or black bear even. Pretty nice hunting setup. I'd say go for it.
