Need red label help please

I recently bought a used red label 12 gauge.I have no history on the gun.I wanted to order some additional chokes but the website I was looking at asked if it was a pre 92 model.How can i tell the difference between pre 92 and post 92?

  Go to the Ruger website---you can date your gun there.

  The early Red Labels were not threaded for removable chokes. I have an early Red Label 20ga.
