Mossberg 590 w/heat shield

Can I install a rifled slug barrel on this gun? If so how do I identify which barrel? Thanks

  I am guessing no as the extended mag tube would be the limiting factor. I think most( if not all of) the rifled Mossberg barrels are for the standard length mag tube.
  
  Don't give up yet....someone may come by that knows of such a barrel. In the gun world, never say never.

  Well it probably already allows "rifled slugs". All you are missing is rifle sights. You can get an IC barrel with rifle sights i believe..
  
  A rifled barrel isn't somthing mossberg produces for the 590. It's considerd a defense gun.. not a hunting arm.
