Most all of the sheet graphics are what is called hydro graphics. The sheel is laid on top of a water tank, then the item that it is going to be applied to is submerged into the tank thru the sheet. While it can be done at home, it is highly advised to use someone who does the process for a living.
An alternative, would be to apply the Dura-Touch family of products, yourself at home. I believe Brownells carries the materials, and can advise you how to apply it, and might even have the camo pattern stencils you are looking for. The Dura-Touch is also more impervious to solvents than the hydrographics, and any paint products.

I owned a DPMS AR-15 that was a special edition Desert Digital Camo for Bill Hicks Dist. 200 in .233 and 200 in .308
It had been dipped and it had a fantastic finish, appears durable and it was near flawless, you could detect a faint seam along the bottom of the rifle where it was dipped upside down. Plus the dipping is very thin, not like a thick coat on top of the original finish
wish I had never sold it, but received an offer I couldn't turn down0
