What is the value of a Bay State 28 ga. ,I need some percentages.Its not listed in my Blue Book. I have a .410 Folding Gun,s.n.6122,I can not find the year it was made.The Blue Book only goes back to 1940 .This s.n. does not have a letter in front of it. Anybody know. Thanks,Bill

    Need to know the exact name on the gun. Is it just BAY STATE, BAY STATE ARMS, BAYSTATE (one word) ARMS CO, or BAY STATE GUN?

    re: the FOLDING Model - these were made between c. 1925 and 1942, in two frame sizes and two variations. If the barrel on yours is 22", it is the LIGHTWEIGHT frame (if 26" it is the full size frame.) It appears that 2nd Variation pieces will have a large 'F' preceeding the serial number. If yours doesn't have the 'F', then it is a 1st Variation and was made around 1930.

    The gun says on the reciever= Harrington&Richardson Bay State Worchester,Mass U.S.A. S.N. A839610 which should make it a 1940 model. Thanks for the info.,on the folding gun.
