Minox Rifle Scopes

Has anyone had any experience with Minox scopes/optics? German optics...long history of lenses. I have only experience with their small cameras.

    I had one of their cameras years ago. They were out of business for years, and never made rifle scopes.

    IMHO this is just another case of a famous name defunct product being used to sell inferior quality Chinese caca, i.e. just a bait and switch operation. To make you think that Chinese crap optics have a connection to the legendary Minox camera.

    Sorry Rufe, they are the same old Minox of Germany, just re-organized. these are German made and use Schott glass, I haven't had a opportunity to look through one yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

    Minox is really making a new name for themselves in the world of bird watchers and they are highly rated. Now I wouldn't give up Swarovski's for them, but they are still very good.

    I purchased a Minox BF 10x42 BR binocs (http://tinyurl.com/6dr2rto) last hunting season and am very pleased with. Lots of binocs for $140.

    I bought a 4-20x with the BDC reticle on an offer I couldn't refuse from a supplier. I tested it on one of my competition rifles with known accuracy performance. The scope was clear, sharp and easy to use. I have moved it to another rifle for additional testing and I'll probably use it on a prairie dog rifle later this spring.

    Good name, solid manufacturer.
