year of 16 gauge?

very top of gun on barrel matted rib reads: PAUL STRUBE, BUCHSENMACHER, KOTHEN (AMH) on metal reads:KLETT FLUSS STAHL K - On the other barrel metal number: 1836 K is inscribed on it. In 1958 the NRA wrote my father in law stating the words Eagle Crown U - 1 1/25 nitro. Made by a German gunsmith, intended for smokless loads. They believed Klett was the gunmaker? Any info would be much appreciated.

  Klett Fluss Stahl is what it is made from- Klett Bessemer process steel (fluid or flowing steel) Kothen is a city in germany where the gunmaker (Buchsenmacher) Paul Strube did business.

  Need quality photos of all German Proof Markings on the shotgun to get even an approximate DOM. Their proof laws weren't changed to require a proof date marking until the 1920's.

  Just a note that some of the coding was hard to read on the gun so I used the original document sent by NRA showing inscriptions on places of gun.
