Winchester signal Cannon
I read all previous postings on the cannons. I have a gentleman that will sell me an original cannon. It is a 2 owner with original owner purchasing it in 1925 and the 2nd owner has had it for 30 years. Condition of the carriage is 97% the barrel blueing is 90%. The bore is mint. It comes with a cleaning kit for the cannon. Price is $ 1800. I have watch the prices of these climb steadily over the last 10 years. Is the price fair? He asked me not to post any photos of the cannon. The cannon was stored out of sunlight as the bluing has not faded and looks like a Winchester should.

Don't know that there's alot of cannon experts on here. After studing them for 10 years and watching prices on these you may be more familiar with the market than the average man. Surely you've reasearched and know what your after, good luck. Shoot a round for all of us ![;)] 0 -
that is a bit stiff at 1800.00 i bought mine for 500.00 it is an original win..you can buy the repo for 550.00 0 -

Thank you for your help. So few good condition cannons ever are sold in the public eye I was checking to see if anyone had seen a good one sell lately.
The repo ones are nice if you are going to shoot them. I have safes full on guns that I have never shot and will never get around to so this cannon wont be fired by me.0 -

If you want it and are comfortable with the price, buy it. The price may be high today but if you hang on to it the price will catch up. I have never yet been sorry for having paid too much for a really high quality item that is rare. I have been less than happy with a "bargan" price on a common item in average condition. 0
