FI industries Mod 380 value

    "FI" is firearms International. It's the pistol that they were going to make for Colt, to be sold as the Colt Pony. Either Colt backed out of the deal, or "FI" went out of business? This was back in the early 70's, obviously there not common because of this. Being nickel with blued parts is also kind of unusual. Don't know how much collector demand/value it would generate though. To most folks it would be just another single action .380.

    This is the predecessor of the Colt .380s, and the US sucessor to the Star DK .380. It's in a long line of guns leading up to the current version-the SIG P238.
    Value is around $300, maybe more.

    Is it nickle or hard chromed [?] It looks like a one I had hard chromed in the mid '70,s.

    IF, I remember correctly,,it is a hard chome as dcs states..Been 25 yrs ago but believe they were good shooting pistols. $300 would be about right?
