WTH is this rifle PT 1

OK, so I am helping a friend sell off his late FIL's collection and have come across some things I have NO IDEA what they are.

What is this and what is it worth??





it has NO MARKINGS unless they are inside the stock lines. It is a large bore, with a rifled barrel. The only marking is "870" stamped in the buttstock.

  Looks like a remington rolling block.
  Any idea on caliber???
  Lot of them were .43 spanish. My guess is that is a 7x57. I used to find them around $350 to $400 The actions were sought after for a while. Not to sure about that anymore.

  The rear sight suggests a Danish Rolling Block to me. However I've only heard of them with marks on the tang, never unmarked totally.
