Remington 11-87 Premier Shotgun Value?
I have a Remington 11-87 Premier 12 gauge shotgun with a rifled cantilever barrel topped with a Leupold VX-II 3-9x40 scope that I may be willing to part with if I receive the right offer. How much should I expect to sell this rig for? I am not desperate to get rid of this gun as it is a beautiful piece of equipment and shoots great but for the right price I would consider it. My wife and I have a baby due in April and there are a few things I'd like to purchase before daycare eats-up my monthly budget... I have all of the original paperwork and boxes for both the gun and scope. This gun has been fired fewer than 50 times and is in excellent, like new condition.
Thanks
Thanks

In our current economy, and considering the time of year, I would say you could expect beween $675 and $750 (Minn,Wisc,Mich), and it might take a couple of weeks, but believe me, it will "move". 0 -
Makindu,
Thanks a lot for getting back to me so quickly. I'm not desparate to sell the gun so would you recommend that I wait until this fall and try to sell it closer to deer season? Could I expect to get more for it then?
Thaks,

The Leupold scope easily adds about $200 of value to that 11-87 premier/cantilever package. If your gun (metal and wood) is in excellent condition, I would expect to get up to a 10% premium over my earlier estimate, (in other words, $750 -$825) selling the gun a month or two before the deer shotgun hunting seasons begin.
I just did an auction search and YIKES !!!
Here is what a bad economy can due to gun values...
...Wish I had seen this one before the auction ended.
It would have ended up in MY gun cabinet. What a steal of a deal.
