Fox BSE series H 20 ga
1.Will the stock and forearm from a Fox B 12ga fit a Fox BSE series H 20ga.
2.If not, how much work is there to make it fit.
This gun has a lot of sentimental value but there is a point where anything can get out of hand.To find another gun like it would be around $1000.
Don't know what cost would be to have new stock and forearm built.
Stock was broken at the tang and repaired by me but my abilities are not of a professional nature and the stock is loose. Beautiful walnut and checkering and I refinished both w/ Creedmore stain and 20 coats of hand rubbed tung oil

We had some problems with getting the right internal parts for some series but I think the stocks should be very close. There may be a difference between double and single triggers. Boyds' might have a pattern to make a new stock. Considering the actual value and whatever sentimental value is on the gun, spending $200 on a new set of wood seems reasonable. 0 -
There is a stock and forearm avialable that is new for much less money. Not familiar with Boyd's as you mentioned in your reply but will look into it. The original stock and forearm are very nice walnut and would probably be inclined to spend a little more if new material is needed. 0
