Winchester Model 64 38-55

Was a Winchester Model 64 ever produced in a 38-55? If so, what timeframe and how many were made?

Yes, there were a scant few made in the years 1933 - 1937. Winchester discontinued the 38-55 at the end of 1937 (they announced it in the January 1938 Salesman catalog). I know of one Model 64 in 38-55, and have heard of two more. I do not know how many were made, but the number is undoubtedly very small.

Seriously... I do not know for sure what one would sell for, but I highly supsect that you should triple the price over an otherwise identical Model 64 in 30 W.C.F.
