Remington Rand 1911 manufactured by Colt in 1919. I got this info from researching the serial # . Is this of any value to collectors? It is complete and functional with two clips and a holster.

Pistol would be considered as a Colt, because that is who manufactured the frame, rather then Remington Rand.

Many 1911's have mismatched slides because of rework in military arsenals during W W II. They still have value to collectors, depending on cosmetics. Particularly if both slide and frame have uniform Pakerized arsenal rework finish.

If you have a receiver made by Colt in 1919 with a slide made by Remington Rand in 1943-1945 as it seems, then you have what the collectors call a "mixmaster."

If it was done in an arsenal and is properly marked, it can be worth in the high hundreds of dollars if in first class condition.

If it is judged to have been done in a lower level service facility, it is still worth several hundred.

If it is a parts gun put together by Bubba, collector value is nil, just whatever a "complete and functional" pistol can sell for.
