Savage 99 .........sp???

Looking for the value of a couple of Savage Arms model 99 the marking on the lever boss is SP inside the oval and i could not find those markings on any forum

  there should be a single letter and a number ,that is an inspectors idenity code. the letter s stands for 1965. but it should not be followed up with another letter. look closely. the other things to look for is / dose the forearm have a knuckle or knural out on the end,if so its an EG model. what is the serial # ?to help find out what model.where is the safety located? what cal? and so on. the best thing you could do is post pics. good luck.
