Can anyone identify this gun?
It's a single barrel 12 gauge with what appear to be oriental markings. I apologize for the lack of pictures. Thank you in advance.

Not sure who made it but it looks like it may have a Damascus barrel which would make it unsafe to shoot modern smokless ammo in. 0 -
Didnt Remington make one similiar? I think it was a Model 7 or something close to that. 0 -
Thanks for the reply but it doesn't have a damascus barrel. I forgot to mention that it has rifle sights which may or may not have been installed at the factory and that the side lever (as most of you have probably guessed)is actually the safety. Thanks again. 0 -

A model 7? Interesting. What production years are we talking about?0 -
Truely a question mark, and not my area of expertise but with rifle sights, one has to wonder if it was built as a slug gun/stopping rifle? Also, for a gun with asiatic characteristics and stampings, it sure looks alot like a Browning, or in general a western design? Normally the asian guns are more to the occidental taste and not tailored to western preferrences. 0 -
Is it only odd to me that it only has 1 trigger?? 0 -
Well, it only has one barrel, so it only needs one trigger.
The side safety does not appear to be of the workmanship of the rest of the gun. I wonder if it is an Oriental repair or modification of a Greener type safety.0
