Daniel Defense Lite and Laure Tactical Rails
I'm putting together a new upper and wondered if anyone has both a Daniel Defense Lite and a Laure Tactical rail? I would like to see a picture of both looking directly at them (not side view). I've heard the Daniel Defense are more "oval" being shorter on the sides making them feel thinner. Any experience or advice would be appreciated such as what advantages/disadvantages each holds over the other.

Do you plan on using any rubber type rail guards as those will make more of a difference then the rails them selves. Rails on there own can be kinda sharp and hard on the hand during shooting. I also think the oval shape comes into play more if they are specified as to fit an M4 type rifle. I'm not quite sure on this but it's worth looking into as well. You might also want to look at the Midwest Industries rails as well. They are built very well and considerably cheaper in price then both the Daniel Defense and LaRue models. 0 -
+1 on the Midwest Industries and American Defense products. Can't help you with the tac light unfortunately...not my brand. 0
